STABILIZE THE HOME

• Confirm who is occupying the property and who is authorized to enter.

• Inventory keys, garage remotes, gate credentials, alarm contacts, cameras, lawn and maintenance and smart-home access.

• Protect mail, packages, pets, vehicles, utilities, valuables, and areas that should remain closed. Remove nothing without stake-holder agreement.

• Identify immediate risks: an unlocked home, failed systems, weather exposure, vacancy, or unverified contractors.

DELIVER AND KEEP AN ACCESS LOG

Record who entered, why, when, what areas were accessed, and whether keys or temporary codes were returned or disabled. Use time-limited credentials when the system permits, and avoid sharing permanent codes in group texts. Log changes.
